See the TV from the PC with a normal internet connection

A few months ago I happened to be traveling and do not have a television, and I asked myself, how can I see it on pc? The first few days I found many solutions for watching TV, the most common on the internet.

Internet TV

At the moment it is completely free (and hopefully will continue to remain so in the future); allows you to see many channels on the internet with great ease, in a manner accessible to all. As with all programs of this page, you can watch TV on the internet without the need to purchase additional devices, since you can connect to the channels already present on the internet.
Internet TV, in the very long list of supported channels, it also contains a number of channels in Italian. Among others, you can always see the latest edition of the various newscasts our own: You can sort the channels (many thousands) per language, genre, content, or more.

At the moment it's the best program in its class.


IMPORTANT: The program on the homepage of Internet TV is given for free. The download link for some time, however, refer to a version that, although given for free, it is paid (expires after 14 days).

The version that you can download from here by clicking below on the last download is free (the 7:14). At the moment it still works well, we hope to continue into the future.

SocialTiVu

Its program that allows you to watch TV on the internet, from RAI (and Mediaset) streaming directly on the computer (replaces StreamRAI, previously present on this page, no longer developed).
 For this to work, it is necessary that the computer has VLC (Video Lan) and the path of the latter is indicated in the preferences of SocialTiVu itself (it only takes a moment).
E ' can also record what you are seeing, just as if we had a VCR.

It works very well, one of the main advantages is that it is available in both portable (does not install anything on your computer, and it works not only on Windows), which version to install.

Of course require a fast Internet connection, otherwise - understandably - channels will be jerky.
Specialty of this program, compared with similar programs for TV on the internet, is the presence of a truly remarkable number of TV and radio Italian.

Unfortunately some of the TV channels have on the list of problems (trying to view them, you get an error message).

RevoluTV

It ' a program to watch TV on the internet, light and very easy to use, completely free of charge (it has not even advertised in it, at least so far).
 The number of TV present is remarkable, but unfortunately those in the Italian language are few (less than other competing programs).
A number of TV does not work (which is quite normal for a free program that lives of donations, you cannot pay someone who daily checks that some of the TV is not placed off), but most of you can see without any problem.
RevoluTV currently has no options to configure, just click Channels -> Select Channel and choose the channel.

As with all programs to watch TV on the internet, does not require any additional hardware, you only need only one (good) internet connection.

Sopcast (p2p TV)

Other p2p program for the television like a TV Ants. And ' possible to see documentaries, sports and much more (usually in English, or other lesser known languages??). As for TV Ants (and possibly more), SopCast is not easy to use at first (despite being in Italian), and for this reason it is good to look for some guide on the internet.
Again, remember that SopCast is free but not open source.
